To tell this story from the fans' perspective, we are doing something new for us — we're combing New England for personal photos taken by fans showing their jubilation in the days following the 2004 victory. ...If you have anything that might qualify, send it to photos@florentinefilms.com.
The types of photos we're seeking include: scenes of celebration taken in the hours and days after the 2004 World Series win, congratulatory signs posted in homes or businesses, memorabilia left at grave sites of loved ones (there were several reports of this happening throughout New England), and anything else that may be relevant.
Also, if appropriate: post/blog about, or let other Sox fans know about, the search. I'm sure there are some real gems out there.
The episode is scheduled for broadcast this fall.

Thanks Allan. I'll put up a post about this on my blog, too. I'm in the World Series 2004 MLB video with many of my friends. I'll let them know that...
If it's fine with you, I will copy your post verbatim to my blog (and give credit to you, of course).
Oh, and congrats to "The Hawk!"
I sent them an e-mail about my the little video my wife took of us celebrating in Belize on our honeymoon. I doubt very much it will interest them.
You never know what will interest a researcher, or what will make it into a movie and not onto the cutting room floor. Maybe they'll include little clips from all over the world, and Zen & Zenette in Belize will be part of it.
AW hah hah! I never thought to hear my wife referred to as Zenette. She's operating the camera in the video. But that's what I figured, Laura. They probably just want still photos, but you never know. I didn't attach the file to the e-mail, just asked if they were interested.
On another note, RJ's retirement nudged a Braves blog to compare him to Maddux and Pedro. It seems they came to the same conclusion that RS has, i.e. the only sensible one, that Pedro at his best was better than the others. Full career...I might take Maddux.
Assuming, of course, that Pedro doesn't charge back into form next year.
I normally eschew the -ette suffix, but sometimes it's irresistible. :)
Full career, I guess you'd have to take Maddux. Therefore it's better to only look at Pedro's best!
