I thought he was genuinely humbled and excited by the moment.<br /><br />2. I liked this answer about the collapse. He wasn't there. Stuff may or may not have happened. He's going to build his own relationships with players.<br /><br />3. I care not a whit about how long the process took. Has anyone suggested that it may have been deliberate by Sox ownership? Would anything else have garnered this much media build-up during the past weeks considering that zero has happened on the player acquisition side?<br /><br />4. CHB really is a loathsome prick. Trying to embarrass everyone with the "choice" question at the presser only served to focus on how small he is. Did he expect Ben to say, "Jeez Dan ya got us, them bastard owners did me?"
