A couple of times, he swung wildly at a tough lefty slider out of the zone (one from CC, one in an earlier game, i forget from whom), and then proceeded to completely ignore the pitch when thrown again later in the at-bat. Very impressive. It's like he recognizes it without trouble the next times...<BR/><BR/><BR/>In addition, is it just me, or has Papi as of a couple months ago seemed to open his eyes wider than usual at the plate? it's less pronounced now, but it seemed like he started mashing the ball pretty much right when he seemed to have his eyes wider. anyone notice this?
