Last night, Rick Ankiel, the St. Louis pitcher-turned-outfielder, played his first major league game since 2004. Ankiel started in right field and batted second. He
hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning to push the Cards to a 5-0 win over San Diego.

ReplyDeleteI am also rooting for him. How about 7 shutout innings for the former Red Sox Joel Pinerio?
