Off topic, but Jeemer is frequently called "Darkman" on other blogs (from his spring-training comment about Dice-K getting all the attention - "I am willing to be a hero in the dark.")Wow has that ever come true. Maybe worth adding to the glossary.
As long as Steinbrenner's brain hadn't turned to mush by October 2004 ...any time after that is fine with me.

October 2004 might have been the start of the downward turn. And yes it is harsh.
Harsh? Lightweights.Remember, wishing doesn't make it so.
Jeemer is frequently called "Darkman" on other blogsBut it's a Joy Of Sox glossary, and Redsock never uses that name. Plus some of us dislike it.
Fair enough. Are all those names JoS only? "Being" is from Over the Monster.Wasn't aware some didn't like it though, musta missed that thread. I sorta like it since it came from a clever quote of his.
Are all those names JoS only? No, as you point out. Don't look too closely for consistency. :)Wasn't aware some didn't like it though, musta missed that thread. To be honest, "some" might be Redsock and me. I'm not sure if anyone else dislikes it.I sorta like it since it came from a clever quote of his.The quote was great (hero in the dark), the Darkman part was, let's just say, someone else's. Allan might want to add it to the glossary. This is just my opinion. That might carry a bit more weight at JoS, but only a bit. :)
To me, Darkman has a certain nerdy attraction, like so.And yes, the Darkman bit was a riff on the quote, not something from Jeemer directly.
