The Yankees are the hottest team in baseball, last I checked?
Depends when you start counting from. As I mention in the Roundtable, "since August 15, Cleveland has a much higher winning percentage (31-12, .721) than the Yankees (27-16, .628)".
I agree with you on all predictions, though I think the Phillies and Rockies will need a 5th game to decide their series.
Which series do you think will be the most exciting? Obviously, we're biased for the Red Sox, but if the Red Sox sweep or take it in 4, that's not as exciting as another series going 5 games.
My vote for most exciting series will be Rockies/Phillies, with CLE/MFY a close second.
"Cleveland over Yankees in 5"

I don't think anything is going to stop a Red Sox-Yankees ALCS. AKA the real World Series.

If you use the power rankings at ESPN then your AL predictions would be correct. Your NL predictions would be wrong.
ReplyDelete1. Cleveland
2. MFY
3. Boston
4. Colorado
6. Philadelphia
7. Angels
9. Arizona
12. Chicago
