I don't understand, why didn't Papelbon make the list? Or Ellsbury?

ReplyDeleteEllsbury is likely still considered a prospect.
Not sure why Bot -- a proven major league palyer -- would not rate. Maybe closers don't have *that* much of an impact, in James's view.
I went to the Hall of Fame this weekend, and 2007 championship stuff was still pretty scarce outside the giftshop. They did, however, have Buchholz's no-hitter up on the wall of no-hitters, which was sweet.
