Red Sox One-Hit By Dodgers

The Red Sox bats were silent this afternoon as three Dodgers pitchers tossed a one-hitter. The lone Boston hit was Bobby Kielty's single with one out in the eighth inning. Other baserunners: Dustin Pedroia walked to start the game and Alex Cora reached on an infield error two batters after Kielty's single. Final: 8-0.

Clay Buchholz went 3+ innings (facing two batters in the fourth): 5 hits, 5 runs (4 earned), 3 walks, 5 strikeouts, 70 pitches (38 strikes, 32 balls). As MLB.com notes:
