Pedroia: One Week Away?

Dustin Pedroia will see team foot specialist George Theodore on Friday. FY hopes to get the green light to play rehab games with Pawtucket on the weekend.

I ran in cleats [before Tuesday's game]. That was the first time I sprinted in spikes. It felt good. I was kind of surprised. A week ago, I thought I was looking at September. I feel like I'm able to get in there. ... I don't think I need to do another CT scan. He's going to push on the fracture and stuff like that. If he clears me to go, I'll play [with Pawtucket] Saturday and Sunday, and then we're off Monday and I'll play Tuesday [against the Angels at Fenway].
