The Baseball Writers Association of America announced the 2010 Rookies of the Year today (1st place votes in parenthesis).

Wow, no differences whatsoever! (In fact, both the BBWAA and BBA voters had Feliz beat Jackson by 24 points!) I doubt that consensus will continue.

    Note that Posey and Heyward were named on only 31 of the 32 ballots.

    Neyer: "One of the voters was Yasushi Kikuchi, of the Kyodo News. He had Sanchez first, and left off Posey. Based purely on playing time, you can almost see it. The other voter was Dejan Kovacevic, who had Posey first, followed by two Pirates. It doesn't even matter which Pirates."

    Looks like they were Neil Walker and Jose Tabata.

    Last year, the BBA and the BBWAA agreed on all but one award--we gave the ROY to Andrew McCutchen, they gave it to Chris Coglan.

    I don't think there is a lot of debate on the rest of the awards, so I'd be surprised if there were any differences.

    I see some room for debate over Pujols and Votto for NL MVP.

    I want Pujols to win to just add to his legacy (plus there isn't a big enough gap between him and anyone else where it would seem unearned).
