ReplyDeleteInteresting interview with Papelbon. He seems to indicate (hard really to understand him completely, given his limited ability to articulate) that Francona's departure was a big factor in his own decision to leave. And that he resented the trainers telling him what to do. Not sure how much I believe that since I am sure it mostly was about money, but interesting nevertheless.
