    Will the Red Sox actually consider trading Gonzalez? Haven' t we traded away our best 1b prospects?

    I can't imagine them trading him. You can always find a decent 1B, but he's got a big bat.

    As I recall, Youkilis was a decent 1B (Gold Glove even).

    But he now plays for the pale hose.

    I wonder where the RS would be if we'd kept Beltre (currently having another outstanding year) at third and Youk at 1st...

    oh well.
