Despite the lack of both game recaps and non-game posts, I have not given up on the blog.
I have, however, completely checked out on the 2012 season. (Perhaps you have, too.)
But there is some stuff coming up: two research posts that have been in drafts for months and a long review of one of the best baseball books I have ever read.
So stay tuned.

No worries, Allan. I'm already hibernating until February.
ReplyDeleteBTW, how does Jeter's hat taste? :-D
There are still games going on?
ReplyDeleteNote: Picture has no real connection to post.
ReplyDeleteThe redeeming thing about this season is that it is in its own dreadful way absolutely unforgettable. It's a little sick rubbernecking as we cruise past the awful wreck of the 2012 Red Sox, but we can never say that they were merely a mediocre team, a blah collection of .500 players.
ReplyDeleteIf only!
No worries. 147 days until Pitchers & Catchers! I'm really excited about 2013 season!
ReplyDeleteAs always, appreciate how long you DID hang in there! Good, bad, indifferent, always looked forward to the posts.

I checked out on the team in May, but I still visited here every day to see what I missed. I daresay you caught it all. Thanks for keeping it up!

ReplyDeleteMy feelings essackly. Amy also echoes my thoughts.
I don't know how long I lasted this season. My attention dwindled all summer until there was none left. I probably haven't watched a complete game since July, and haven't watched any baseball since early August.
Plenty of movies and serieses to watch, Angry Birds to fling, and before you know it, it's P&C time.
