ReplyDeleteRemember, just because we want the Rays to lose doesn't mean we want the Yankees to win.
Hellickson and the Rays got thrashed 11-1 by KC this morning. Looking at the standings even with us up a game has been making me nervous because the Rays have been "ahead in the loss column". They've played fewer games, four fewer (I think). So for them to lose while they catch up in the number of games feels even better to me than moving from 1 GA to 1.5.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Jays get their shit together and beat the Yanks 5-2.
ReplyDeleteFor only the second time in fourteen contests this year.
ReplyDeleteGreat game, hope Peavy keeps pitching like this!
