Went down in order in the 9th...
Just a query - heard the other night on WEEI ( via computer ) that the Sox were some horrific & not unexpected number , about 1 out of 19 when trailing after 8 innings ? When was last time trailed by 3 & got home ? At a guess I'd say its probably about a "once in a season" scenario ?
1-19 when trailing after 8 is not horrific and is actually quite expected. Most teams - even pennant-winning ones - have very poor records in that situation.
