David Price: 6.1-9-4-1-10, 103. ... Glad I missed this one.

Betts, RFTravis Shaw had his third five-RBI game of the season last night (April 26 and May 10 are the other two). Elias reports that the only other Red Sox players to have at least three five-RBI games before July 1 are Ted Williams (four in 1949 and three in 1950) and Manny Ramirez (four in 2005).

Javier Baez keyed a five-run 15th inning by belting a grand-slam in the Cubs' 7-2 win over the Reds in Cincinnati on Tuesday. Only two other players in major-league history have hit a home run with the bases loaded in the 15th inning or later: the Red Sox' Clyde Vollmer against the Indians on July 28, 1951 (16th inning) and the Yankees' Tino Martinez against the Orioles on May 1, 1996 (15th inning).
Nobody cares about the Cubs or Reds in this Forum Allan.... Cmon Man!
Perhaps you should exercise your option of not reading this "forum".
Please keep those cool MLB facts coming, Allan, even if they don't involve the Red Sox!
The thing is, if I think something is cool or interesting or rare - a factoid, a linescore, a tabloid making fun of the Yankees - I might post it. So there's a warning for all the people out there who apparently like the Red Sox (and check this blog out) but don't actually like baseball.
Keep the good news coming!
