Boston is a tough place to play. Some players thrive here, and some players don't. Get a thicker skin. My feeling is, let the broadcasts be honest, be personable, informative, and get over it if you think a certain announcer took a shot at you.
(Yes, he's talking about you.)
Yeah
ReplyDeleteThis seems very inappropriate of a boss to say publicly about his employee. My take on this is that they hope Price opts out after next year. I wonder if they will do what they can to make him want to leave.
ReplyDeleteWerner was mocked as much if not more than anyone in Boston sports history after his "let's go Red Sox" chant debacle.
ReplyDeletePerhaps he has a good point?
Well played by Werner here IMHO......

ReplyDeleteCould be. But this was also a quote taken from an interview rather than one pointed question. (I did not listen to the whole interview.) Someone could say Werner was talking generally, but I don't think so. He said he did not like the way Price handled it: "It wasn't handled appropriately." Which is true.
In a market like Boston, if you have rabbit ears and an urge to talk back, it's going to be a long, rough road. Having thick skin and being deaf is most certainly the best way to live.
Great comment ... grow a pair, or leave. Straight forward.
ReplyDeleteAbout time someone stood up for Eck
