The story behind Norm Macdonald’s telling of the moth joke on Conan is fantastic. pic.twitter.com/FdYtlu0qCm

This Norm Macdonald clip with Jerry Seinfeld about Bill Cosby is the delivery and awkwardness that few could pull off. I can't believe I never saw this before.

I will never forget this great moment of inappropriate humor when Norm was talking about Steve Irwin‘s death with John Stewart while promoting his comedy album “Ridiculous”. Which I went out and bought the next day. I highly recommend it. #NormMacdonald pic.twitter.com/NOsgALEoMS

No one will ever mention this clip because its lost in the multitude of insanely great Norm talk show appearances, but this story about Harold Delaney and Scrabble is a personal favorite:https://t.co/hKGi7NcsKV

Norm Macdonald’s appearance at the Roast of Bob Saget was unlike anything ever seen before. Watch this legendary clip with additional footage. pic.twitter.com/nb6JECXn4H

NBC Executive Don Ohlmeyer, a friend of OJ Simpson, threatened to fire Norm Macdonald if he continued calling Simpson a murderer. Suffice to say, Norm was fired. Not difficult to determine who's on the right side of history in that situation. pic.twitter.com/qPq9C6RBOd

My favorite would have to be this one, also on the @ConanOBrien show. "Andy Richter The Swedish German"

When Conan lost the Tonight Show he made a bad situation hilarious in the most unpredictable way, we lost a genius today 😢https://t.co/Z6pkMThDvE

Norm gets heckled by a teacher about "the real heroes" . . . and goes off script for 12 minutes of pure fucking comedy gold. Once he says, ""You're not one of those fuckin' teachers, are you?", he's off to the races. The clip just cuts off, but he sounded like he was just settling in . . . (I learned from the YouTube comments that both of his parents were teachers.)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to watch a few of these. I'm surprised you didn't include any Pigeon.
ReplyDeleteI did not see a "Best of" Pigeon video. That would have been good.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen the first clips, but they are apparently a serious interview. He was a very smart guy. . . . The Saget Roast is quite famous. Moth Joke, too. . . .
As far as I know, his only special out there for streaming is "Hitler's Dog, Gossip & Trickery" (2017). I'd see it again.
