I saw this list earlier today, and I honestly don't remember Dalbec hitting a home run in five consecutive games. Then I saw that it happened during the 2020 shortened season, of which I follow very little.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that when you review the instances of players with home runs in eight consecutive games, they all happened before 2002, while those in seven consecutive games all happened from 2002 forward. It has nothing to do with anything, but still odd. Wouldn't it be something if Devers somehow reached eight games?
