What Will Schilling Apologize For Tomorrow?

On Tuesday, Curt Schilling apologized on WEEI (according to a JoS commenter) for referring to the Globe's Dan Shaughnessy as a "she" in a recent 38pitches post.

Today, Schilling posted an apology regarding his pointed comments about Barry Bonds. (More at the Globe here and here.)

  2. He has said it was wrong for him to endorse Bush so publicly right after the 04 WS. It made me feel a lot better about him.

  3. Bah - see, other than Georgie Porgie, I really don't think that he SHOULD apologze.

Well, maybe to women for calling CHB a she...

Otherwise, right on brother. Bonds is a schmuck!

  4. I swear I'm seeing Allan behind left-handed hitters. It's the right section, behind the outfield end of the 1st base dugout.

ya know. although curt is a dirty christian and republican...i still love his outspokenness. i wish he wouldn't go back on it. but i suppose you must have to...being who he is, -where- he is.

lovely that i don't have to worry about that situation! ;D

  8. jere: that's about where we were, but it's doubtful. i wwas wearing a black godpapi shirt, a scummy old sox hat, and keeping scoring with 3 pens!

i don't think curt has backed off endorsing whistleass. he said he doesn't agree with him 100% but feels he was the right guy. ... i wonder if he'll be encouraging his son gehrig to go fight cheney's "war on terror" when he's 18. ... i think not.

  12. Mike,

He did not renounce his support of Bush, but he did say on his blog (and apparently had said before) that he should not have used the opportunity of all the WS attention to make a political statement.
