Buchholz To Start Wednesday

Clay Buchholz will make his third major league start tomorrow night in Toronto. He has not pitched in a game since September 6.

  1. What were his numbers like in his last start? I forgot. =)

  2. Not looking good for the Sox. 2 1/2 games ahead now. Yankees are the hottest team in baseball, by a long shot. Red Sox bullpen is in disarray. Red Sox hitters are failing in the clutch. Stomach punch type games are becoming the norm. Tonight is one. The Yankees comeback in game 1 of their series is another.

Looks like a classic August/September fade. I'm considering stopping spending time on this, it's making me too crazy. I think I'll check back when the playoffs start.

You shouldn't even be allowed to watch the playoffs. When we win the division, you should not be allowed to celebrate. You should not be allowed to call yourself a fan.

  4. Man, tonight sucked. Sucked hard. But I'm not giving up. Manny should be back soon and the bullpen will be fine as long as Gagne stays as far away from it as possible.

Its a shame too because I think all Red Sox fans wanted to love the guy, but to be frank, he's just been awful. I hope he signs with an NL team in the off season because I can't imagine the greeting he'd get coming back to Fenway if he keeps pitching like this.

You are right of course. My behavior here flies in the face of true fandom. I guess I am not a fan after all.

But, I think I will still watch when the playoffs come around. Good thing you're not in charge of who's allowed to watch!

That's for sure! There'd be like 25 people allowed in.

Thanks for being a good sport. Even if you are a bad fan. ;)
