Just read a review of the Mohegan Sun center-field bar seats at the Toilette-Nouveau, and they reminded me of the Hard Rock in the Skydome...until I read the price for seats - NINETY FUCKING DOLLARS????
ReplyDeleteI nearly shat myself. That's fucking ridiculous, $90 to sit in a bar and watch the game through glass. It's fucking $5 in Toronto and they usually don't bother charging it. I can understand it being a bit more because its New York, but $90 - anyone who coughs this up is out of their fucking mind.
God dammit. I could go on but I don't want to blow any veins in my forehead. Jesus fuck.
It makes me verify I'm over 18 and says the show features "strong content." Live up to that! F-bombs! Or at least say dong once or twice.

In the end, I think more things have to go right for the Yankees (or fewer things go wrong) for NY to win the East than for Boston. The Red Sox are a more solidly constructed team, with players in reserve in case/when shit happens.

It's an open chat room I can't pay attention to what everyone is saying while doing a show. From what I understand there was a bit of a fight going on with two of the listeners. So for that I apologize but I cant except total responsibility for what everyone does. It's an open chat room I'm just the host not the baby sitter.

Yeah. I got it. What do you want me to do? I was busy taking notes during the show. Like I said. When you put 40 or so people in one room things are bound to get nasty. Me, personally, I'm not that way. Just don't think what some asinine listeners say in the chat room is a reflection of what my beliefs are or how I run my show. Tonight was a larger turnout than usual and lots of new chatters, I'm sorry if anyone was offended but just don't think this is a reflection of my personality.

I need to comment on the sexist remark bash. There was quite frankly--stupid banter going on between jobajr and lgirl--it was pretty boring actually and considering lgril is an adult, should have ended much sooner than it did. Anyway, the insults were flying, pms was mentioned and the tampon comment was added. No one was insulting anyone's wife. That's not what the show is about and for the record, the Host did try to control the chat--several times threatening to ban the chatters for their out of line comments. Grown women should know better than to exchange banter with little boys. It was boring, it was inappropriate, and not the content that belonged in the show.

The weird thing is that people from the chat seem to think I was actually angry or upset. Maybe they can't visualize a woman just laughing and going along with the silliness, they can only imagine I'm upset. Or is it that *they're* boiling mad, so they assume I am too? I was laughing and enjoying it. If I weren't, I wouldn't have been there.

There really weren't any problems, but I guess some people thought I was taking it more seriously than I was. I was insulting and being insulted by a young, dumb, Yankees fan. Usual chat room stuff, and as as SoSock said, why I don't go to chat rooms.
