really happy he'll be a Twin for years to come. Yes, would have been good theater but the risk of the MFY outbidding us would have been way too high. Much more happy he's a Twin rather than a Yankee.
At the risk of sounding like a whiny old-timer, let me just say it's cool to see a superstar stick with one team. It's a lot better than having to see him get traded at the deadline in his walk year and then get signed by the Yanks.
