With one out in the fourth, Kevin Youkilis walked and went to third on Adrian Beltre's double. Then J.D. Drew struck out and Hall flied to center. (Yook's rally-killer spoiled the shutout.)
Lackey (7.1-8-4-1-7, 117) was good, except when he wasn't, and then he was as annoying as usual.
Mariano Rivera blew a save, but the Yankees beat the Blue Jays 7-6 in 10. The Rays beat the Twins 7-4. Boston falls to 1.5 GB, while Tampa Bay stays 2 GB.

National Anthems are harmless in many countries. Nationalism from the US... not so much.
