  1. Sorry. Expected to be back in time. ... In the future, just start one!

  2. I blame Wade Miley's poor performance on Allan's negligence.

  3. Was at the game yesterday afternoon. It was good to have that feeling like no matter what the deficit, we could come back. Turned 8-2 into 8-5 but that was as close as we got.

Misleading quote by Cafardo, saying the Sox have won their first three series for the first time since 1952. In '79 we went 4-0-2 in our first six series. A tie is not a win though so technically he's right.

  4. Fine. I will take the blame on this one. Who knew Miley was so in tune with my schedule?

  5. Cafardo is a lazy dope, so I'm saying he's wrong! But he does let us know: "It's April. Not time to panic, but ..."

Remember, this is the guy who pretty much demanded all winter that the Sox trade Betts and others for Hamels. Now after Betts's strong start, he's writing: "This is why you don't trade Betts for Hamels."

  6. Not time to panic? But we're in first place! Er...

  7. We could be 81-0 at the break and some mediot would find reason(s) to panic in the second half.

  8. "We could be 81-0 at the break..."

That ship has sailed, dammit. I don't want baseball to be interesting, Allan. I just want the Red Sox to go 162-0, but, as usual, they prefer to do things the hard way.
