It Looks Like Alex Cora Is Already On The Hot Seat

According to SoSH, Alex Cora is already on the hot seat.
The Gray Eagle
He's still winless as Red Sox manager. What a bum.

glasspusher
He's done nothing for our lineup. Have they even gotten a hit yet?

Savin Hillbilly
I love it when people make excuses for his failure to bring us a championship. My favorite is, "but he hasn't even been hired yet!" Give me a break. Winners find a way.

Harry Hooper
I don't see the point of him scouting the WS so intensely. Are the Dodgers and the Astros really going to make any players available this winter?

Mueller's Twin Grannies
Can he teach every hitter how to foul off 18 pitches and then hit a homerun in the same at-bat? Remember that? That was awesome.*

YTF
The worst managerial hire they've made this year. DD needs to go.

I have to disagree...you may say that I am a Corapologist, but he is undefeated for his Red Sox managerial career. Even the benighted Tito lost at least one game per season!! In Cora we trust.

TWalk
Never listened well to upper management. Look at him day dreaming about being in the World Series

*: May 12, 2004: Cora caps off an 18-pitch at-bat against Cubs pitcher Matt Clement by hitting a home run.

A great comment from Tristan MacLeod: "Look at Dave Roberts sitting in that dugout, enjoying the show... completely unaware of how much of an impact he will make on baseball history five months from then."
