Limp end to a flaccid year.

Then Schilling has to spill the terrible news about Tim and Stacy...

And yet, the end of the baseball season leaves me wanting more.

Go Sox!

John G. is looking for a sweep this weekend and 80 wins for the Red Sox and one win for him.

Back in the spring I disgusted myself with my relentless negativity and pessimism ("A losing season, c'mon now!"), yet here we are!

Such a disappointing end to 2023... while I had hoped for something along the lines of what we witnessed ten years ago, the past six plus weeks have been painful. I would have pulled the plug well before now if that had been an option. That said, like fusionmouse, I remain optimistic that next season will be better, especially since there seems to be a lot of talented players waiting in the wings that have proven themselves (Casas, Bello, Rafaela, etc.).

At the very least, I can sleep knowing that the MFY, who many picked to be winning the division and possibly representing the American League in the World Series, are also bound for the links after Sunday.

Thursday: Orioles 2, Red Sox 0 (Sorry, John G.)
Friday: Red Sox 3, Orioles 0 (David F. still has hope.)

Saturday: Orioles 5, Red Sox 2

Boston will finish the season tomorrow with either 77 or 78 wins.
No contest winner for 2023.

Postseason contest?

Paul Hickman said...

Why not !

Doesn't have to be a prize - just bragging rights until next year !!!

See who can get closest to predicting all 11 Postseason series ? Or just the Last 3 ?
