2-1, 2-1, 2-1, 2-1

The San Diego Padres did something no team has done since at least 1957 (and perhaps in baseball history): win four straight games by the same score.
Wednesday, June 4: Padres 2, Cubs 1
Thursday, June 5:  Padres 2, Mets 1
Friday, June 6:    Padres 2, Mets 1
Saturday, June 7:  Padres 2, Mets 1
The Padres also beat the Mets on Sunday, but by an 8-6 score.

    I've been looking through old game logs--haven't found any other four-skis. But in classic me fashion, I have to give you something else I found.

    7/31-8/7/1928: The Red Sox play 9 games in a row in which their run total was equal to or greater than the previous game's total. After scoring 1 run on 7/30, they scored the following amount in the next nine games: 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 5. They win only 2 of those games, and find themselves in last, 36 games behind the Yanks at the end of the stretch.

    Ooh, 6/15-6/25/1933: Sox give up a multiple of 3 runs in 9 straight games:

    They go 1-8 in these 9, and again, at the end of the stretch they find themselves in last, but this time only 31.5 back of the Yanks.
