Atlanta Signs Saito, Wagner

CBS Sports reports that Atlanta has signed two members of the Red Sox 2009 bullpen.

Takashi Saito (who turns 40 in February) agreed to a one-year deal for $3.2 million. Billy Wagner signed a one-year contact worth $7 million on Wednesday.

It would nice to hear Theo say something about this team going forward they just seem to be lowering payroll and not getting to active in any talks, I don't know that for sure , but sure seems as though he is being very timid.....

Example if you were actually going to move FY to SS why not sign Polanco he hasn't made an error since the '80's...It's not like he has given away future allstars when he has traded players(Hanley is very good , but that produced a World Series). I just don't know why he seems so timid now........And now with talk of Mauer staying in Minnesota, who would catch in 2011......alot of questions with no answers..

So, my Spanish is not as good as it used to be, but if I'm reading it right, the link Quinn just put up says the RedSox have signed Scutaro to a 2-yr. deal pending medical examinations.
