Trump: "I Am The Reason The Red Sox Are Winning"
Trump is an addled moron, of course, and he must be the hero of any story he tells. (If he cannot twist the facts enough to make himself the supreme center of attention, then that story doesn't get told.)
But it should be noted (again) that a majority of the Red Sox's starting lineup - Mookie Betts, Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley, Rafael Devers, and Christian Vázquez - as well as Alex Cora, the team's manager - refused to visit the White House. Four additional players - David Price, Hector Velázquez, Eduardo Núñez, and Sandy Leon - also had better places to be.
Well, at least someone told him how to spell "Red Sox".

He's Made the Red Sox Great Again--if he's the cause of their winning ways, we will hope his impeachment is delayed until after their 2019 triumph in World Cup Series (as the WH congratulated the Red Socks for winning last year.)
Someone should have replied underneath thus :
Has anyone noticed you are a Moron ?
Yep, about 7 Billion at last count .....
Here’s an idea.
Why don’t you keep politics out of sports?
Stop politicizing the Red Sox.
The hate in your heart for DJT is a real turnoff.
Get over it. He won. Stop twisting his words and spewing them over them over the internet.
You will soon learn that your hatred is unfounded when all your Democrat heroes are flushed down the tube as the Truth is revealed about their Treasonous activities.
Get Ready. The Trump Train is COMING.
You will soon learn that your hatred is unfounded when all your Democrat heroes are flushed down the tube as the Truth is revealed about their Treasonous activities.
I probably hate the Democrats MORE than the Republicans. As the man said, you must be as thick as a whale omelet.
Here's an idea.
Here's another one. So long, sucker. Thanks for the laughs.
Holy shit. This Unknown guy says all I can do is "regurgitate CNN talking points". ... Has he read *anything* I have EVER written that was not a Red Sox game story or something about linescores?
I don't think I have ever read such an incorrect description of my public self by someone who has been (allegedly) reading me for a long time.
And this guy is trapped in such a binary way of thinking. I can hear his rusty gears turning ... 'If he hates Trump, he must love Democrats. Since he loves Democrats, he must parrot CNN.' ... As if those two ways of thinking (which are still close to the same way of thinking, even with Trump on one side) are the only two possibilities in the entire world.
It's the old 'If you don't like Bush, you must love Saddam'. Because it MUST be one or the other, right? Someone could not possibly despise BOTH the Democrats AND Republicans equally - and perhaps despise the Democrats more because they pretend in public they are not what they are - and think all mainstream media is extremely right-wing and reactionary, right? That simply cannot compute.
