Yankee Elimination Day is celebrated on the day following the New York Yankees (a) being mathematically eliminated from making the postseason or (b) losing a postseason series.

WOOHOO! Bummed that I missed the postseason contest but celebrating this so early makes up for it. 😁
Congrats. It was great to see former Dodgers Kiké Hernandez and Alex Verdugo terrorize the Yankees.
