Cafardo's mailbag begins:Is Cody Ross a good player?Alex, Washington, DCI've always liked Ross' dirt dog style. ...****
Somewhere in the alternate universe there's a column entitled "Who would ask Nick anything?"
"Gee, I wonder if Cody Ross is a good player...how in the WORLD could I find that out??? I know, I'll send an e-mail to NICK CAFARDO!"
Should we start calling Ross "Eckstein 2.0" just to save time?
"Gee, I wonder if Cody Ross is a good player...how in the WORLD could I find that out??? I know, I'll send an e-mail to NICK CAFARDO!"It's amazing, isn't it? It's exactly what I was writing about a while back, re people posting questions on Yahoo Answers or Ask.com and other stupid sites. Unless "Alex, Washington, DC" respects Nick Cafardo's opinion so much and just wanted to hear what he had to say about Cody Ross. In which case, he's a moron, and he gets the information he deserves.
Alex could be Joebaiting.
Hey, Bob Costas! How can we miss you if you won't go away (or stfu)?Just kidding. We'll never miss your pompous soap box blatherings.
SoSH, Yesterday:Gammons just said on NESN that after talking to Boras today, Jax has 3, 2 and 1 year deals on the table with the 1-year deal the most likely. He wants to be on a team that will win and give him run support. "Has a good feeling" about EJ and Boston. ***
But:https://twitter.com/#!/alexspeier/Cherington: 'We wouldn't rule out adding a starter but I think it's unlikely at this point.'More Cherington: 'I wouldn't expect any major changes between now and the report date"
