Game 1: Red Sox 2-1.
Wow, two squeakers on college day!
I caught the top of the seventh of Game 1 between work and home. Even if the game meant nothing, it was nice to hear Joe C calling the game.
Game 2: Red Sox 1-0.
Now in the first real fake game, we've got the Twins scoring in all innings from 1-6. So we've got a shot at the holy exhibition grail, but short of that, if we can force the Twins to bat in the 9th and hold them scoreless the rest of the way, they'd have the pattern-rific linescore of
222 111 000
And it ends up:
222 111 00x
(Also, Sox score 3 in 3rd, 4 in 4th.)
And FY with the GS.
More linescore fun:
March 8: Astros at Tigers
Astros: 210 322 121
Houston left the bases loaded in the 3rd.
