There Have Been Five No-Hitters Pitched In The Last 40 Days
UPDATE: There Have Been Six No-Hitters In The Last 41 Days!!

UPDATE: Unbelievable! Corey Kluber of the Yankees threw a no-hitter tonight (9-0-0-1-9, 101).
It is the sixth no-hitter of the season and the fourth one this month. It was against Texas, meaning three AL teams each have been no-hit twice this season. This shatters the record for the earliest date for a season's sixth no-hitter by more than a month. The sixth no-no in 1917 came on June 23.

Spencer Turnbull of the Tigers threw the fifth no-hitter of the season last night.

April 9  Joe Musgrove, Padres at Texas:        9-0-0-0-10, 112 (3-0)
April 14 Carlos Rodon, White Sox vs Cleveland: 9-0-0-0- 7, 114 (8-0)
May 5    John Means, Orioles at Mariners:      9-0-0-0-12, 113 (6-0)
May 7    Wade Miley, Reds at Cleveland:        9-0-0-1- 8, 114 (3-0)
May 18   Spencer Turnbull, Tigers at Mariners: 9-0-0-2- 9, 117 (5-0)

The 1917 and 2021 seasons are the only seasons with five no-hitters through a team's first 42 games:

1917: April 14: Eddie Cicotte (April 14), George Mogridge (April 24), Fred Toney (May 2), Ernie Koob (May 5), Bob Groom (May 6)

Both Cleveland and the Mariners have been no-hit twice this season. No team has ever been no-hit three times in one season.

Turnbull (who led the majors with 17 losses in 2019) says some fans behind the Tigers dugout "called" his no-hitter:

I got through the first inning and they're like, "Oh, you're the guy pitching tonight?" And I was like, "Yeah." They're like, "You're throwing a no-hitter!" It's like the first inning. I got three outs. I was like, "All right, man."

Some fun facts regarding Turnbull's no-no are here.

Doug Kern reports that the last team to get no-hit twice in a span of two weeks was the 2015 Dodgers (August 21: Mike Fiers, Astros; August 30: Jake Arrieta, Cubs) and the last team to get no-hit twice in two weeks at home was the 1923 Athletics (September 4: Sam Jones, Yankees; September 7: Howard Ehmke , Red Sox). He tweets:

BTW, you know this is getting shattered.  Maybe this weekend.
Earliest date of a season's sixth no-hitter:
1917 Jun 23
1990 Aug 15
2012 Aug 15
1884 Aug 26
1991 Aug 26

The last season without a no-hitter was 2005. Since then:

2006 -  1
2007 -  3
2008 -  2
2009 -  2  (1 perfect game)
2010 -  6  (2 perfect games)
2011 -  3
2012 -  7  (3 perfect games, 1 combined no-hitter)
2013 -  3
2014 -  5  (1 combined no-hitter)
2015 -  7
2016 -  1
2017 -  1
2018 -  3  (1 combined no-hitter)
2019 -  4  (2 combined no-hitters)
2020 -  2

In the NL/AL era (since 1901), the record for most no-hitters in a season is seven (1990, 1991, 2012, 2015).

(Sandy Koufax's four no-hitters came within a span of 11 MLB no-hitters.)

What's the deal with September 28?
