FILTHY FUCKING WATER
Josh we love you!
The water is ...
Muddy!!!
Now this is the annoying part. No more game threads until FRIDAY!
I'm not watching one moment of baseball during this year's ASB.
Well, there's still the home run derby. Or as I like to call it, Justin Masterson pitches.
Funny how the Red Sox have two players with the same name. Master Bates and Masturbate.
MFY: 001 0
LAA: 000
CCC on the hill.
Between Papi and Beckett, we've been racking up some milestones the past couple games.
Oakland implausibly leads OAK 7 - TB 3
LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 1 - MFY 1
Francona announces HH pitching on Friday.
"Well, there's still the home run derby."
I was including that. We'll be away, a little mini-holiday timed to not miss any games.
Bam and two scouts are already out there. You think the Jays got a hint?
Re HH: Really?
SoSH thread already rollin'.
LAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 3 - MFY 1
I desire a three-game lead.
When they announce the rotation during the break, then we can figure out who we'll see at JoS1 -- two weeks from Tuesday!
two weeks from Tuesday!
Yay!
Still one ticket available...
It's so quiet at work today, maybe I'll listen to the NYY-LAA game too. A 3 game lead would be loverly.
Nah. I think I'll take my break instead. And when I come back, we'll have be 3 GA.
The Jays and Rays both lost. Excellent. Now:
BOS - 54 34 ---
MFY - 51 36 2.5 GB
FKR - 48 41 6.5 GB
TOR - 44 46 11 GB
BAL - 40 48 14 GB
Asshole NESN correspondent just called someone "such a woman" because she said she cried when Papi "came back".
Ooooh which one was it?
Not sure. Someone interviewing fans outside Fenway about their favorite moments of the first half.
It beat out the guy who was insisting Manny wasn't doing anything last year for the Sox. "He wouldn't run."
They weren't kidding when they said that was going to be a short film. 26 minutes without commercials. Ending sucked, though.
LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 5 - MFY 2.
LAA 5 - NYY 4, final. Yes!
Yahoo!
Traveling partner nailed down!
Hotel room secured!
Sox win, Beckett gets a milestone!
Gutters are clean! (there were TREES growing in a couple of places)
WSNLL Majors team nails down a berth in the district championship game tomorrow, with a trip to the states up for grabs! (This is not my team, it's the younger ones that you see in Wiliamsport in a few weeks)
MFY lose 5-4 - 3 game lead!
And the best part about that - last 3 outs made by CI, Tex, and A-Roid! Way to go down without a fight meat-of-the-order!
Any more excitement and I would just have take a break and get a cold beer. Oh.... wait a minute....

Whoo-hoo!
Just getting back to civilization from my kickass camping/rafting adventure on the Ottawa River...great that I left and we were tied for first, and now 3 GA! Lovely games this weekend. Looks like a couple dominant pitching performances from us and a slugfest there.
And I just got home to the tune of a tel. call from my dad, inviting me to see Mick Taylor tomorrow in Hamilton. Woo woo!
