With rosters expanding on September 1, the Red Sox have called up five players: infielder Tzu-Wei Lin, first baseman Sam Travis, and pitchers William Cuevas, Bobby Poyner, and Robby Scott.
The Red Sox will also activate Eduardo Rodriguez, Steven Wright, and Christian Vazquez from the disabled list. Rodriguez is expected to start on Saturday.
