Everyone should read Nathanson's A People's History Of Baseball.

Another reason to mourn the passing of Mookie Betts from the Hub, but, along with Fauci's very errant pitch, the first time baseball has made me happy in a long long time:

It will be very interesting to see whether the full 60 games get played. Jere and Matt get kudos for considering this possibility. Also consider that there may not be opportunities to make up rainouts if they are trying to minimize travel.
