Uniform Changes Unveiled Thursday

The Red Sox will unveil "changes to the ballclub's logos" and "select uniforms" on Thursday.

Sean McAdam, Herald:
"It's likely the team will reveal a new 'alternate uniform,' to either replace or supplement the red tops the team often wears for Sunday home games. There's no word yet on what the new logo will look like, or whether it will replace the existing one, which dates back decades."
And we have no idea if the changes will be similar to the ones I posted about back on November 12. (However, we can be fairly certain the caps will not be changed back to the 1931 home model pictured here.)

Cute, giving everyone minor heart attacks. :)

Didn't mean to scare anyone. In fact, I never thought about that! I only wanted an old, long-discarded design to brighten up the post.

(I decided to spare you a pic of me in a blank white 1918 cap.)

I, uh, also had a minor heart attack when I clicked on the "Uniform Changes" link and saw that photo.

Dear lord.

I confess I hated it the moment I saw it, but when I read '1931' I was suddenly all 'Wow, that's actually pretty cool....'

Naturally weak-minded, I guess....

I read this on extra bases in the same story 2 paragraphs apart.......
Burnett's agent:

"I've maintained for the last two years, if he wants five years, he's getting five years," Braunecker said.

The biggest of the criteria Burnett wants in his next team: "Winning," Braunecker said.

so which is it 5 years or winning....

And if Theo is questioning wheter or not to sign Lowe or Burnett, in my mind , it has to be Lowe....
