Red Sox - 002 000 000 - 2 5 0 Rays - 000 120 00x - 3 5 0The Red Sox had one base runner over the game's final six innings, a two-out single in the sixth by J.D. Martinez (2-for-4). After Rafael Devers drove in two runs with one out in the top of the third, the Rays retired 20 of next 21 batters.
Winning two of three from the Rays is not bad, but this game was very discouraging. Charlie Morton (7-5-2-0-11, 105) outpitched David Price (6-4-3-2-8, 98). ... It was only the fifth game this season in which the Red Sox did not have a base on balls.
Back to Boston, to face the Yankees.
