G42: Orioles 5, Red Sox 4

Red Sox - 300 000 010 - 4 9 2
Orioles - 014 000 00x - 5 11 2
For the second game in a row, the bats struck for three runs in the first, then fell silent.

The Red Sox began the game: Crisp single, Pedroia L6, Ortiz double, Manny single/1-0, Lowell E5/2-0, Youkilis F8, Drew E3/3-0.

But Beckett struggled. After retiring the first five Orioles, he allowed three straight singles to cut the lead to 3-1. He gave up two singles to start the third inning, then got two strikeouts, but Millar singled for one run and Scott followed with a three-run dong -- and it was 5-3 Birds.

Boston did little with Guthrie until the seventh when Casey and Pedroia singled. Baltimore went to the pen. Walker walked Flo and the bases were loaded with no one out for Manny. Johnson came in and won a 10-pitch battle, getting Ramirez to tap into a 1-2-3 DP. Lowell then flied to left to end the threat.

The Red Sox rallied again in the eighth. With one out, Ellsbury and Varitek walked. Cora's single to right scored Lyndon to make it 5-4. But with Sherrill on the mound, Casey flied to left and Pedroia grounded to first. In the ninth, Ortiz, Ramirez and Lowell went down in order.

In Florida, Tampa beat the Rivera and the Yankees 2-1 in 11 innings, to move into first place. ... We are .5 GB. ... New York is 19-21.

Back at 'em with an afternoon game tomorrow.

***

Josh Beckett (3.70, 118 ERA+) / Jeremy Guthrie (4.32, 98 ERA+)

Terry Francona's mother-in-law passed away last night, so Brad Mills will manage the two games at Camden Yards.

Since May 3, Kevin Youkilis is hitting .421 (in 43 plate appearances). His 16 hits in that time: 5 singles, 5 doubles and 6 home runs -- for a 1.026 slugging percentage. (And one stolen base!)

***

Tampa (.5 GB) hosts the Yankees (Wang/Jackson) at 7.

Rich Gossage, on Joba's 8th-inning fist pump-athons:
That's just not the Yankee way ... Let everyone else do that stuff, but not a Yankee. What I don't understand is, the kid's got the greatest mentor in the world in Mariano ... you'd think it wouldn't happen on that team.

I'm sure Joba's getting all the start-your-own-steakhouse tips he needs, though, which is what really matters.

It's too bad he didn't make more of Roger's mentoring last year. That was one of the advantages the MFYs touted, wasn't it?

Also, Francona's wife is named Jacque? Really? (I love Massachusetts.)

Zenslinger said...

Even without Jacoby, I expect the O's to get a sound beating at the hands of Josh & Co.

Amy said...

I hope so, Zen. I found the last two games quite uninspiring.

laura k said...

But the beating would be more fun with Lyndon around.

allan said...

shit -- it's seems to be home team gets the EI feed.

which means ... gary thorne.

ugh.

Jack Marshall said...

Now, Amy, be fair: Sunday's game was a terrific contest, except for the final score. Baseball at its most unpredictable. The Sox have been on the losing end of a lot of terrific games through the years.

Coco's on a tear right now.

Isn't it great to hear these kind of comments?

Sarah Haendler said...

GDGD today, and more bad dance. Better than the other day though, because that was truly bad, and this is just a dance school, and therefore, while not good, at least potentially good someday!

And, since I'm running the whole thing on qLab, I have a lovely macbook pro to use.

allan said...

flo slapping the ball down the lf line makes me giddy. fuck you, o's.

let's go manny!

Benjamin said...

It's even greater to say them than to hear them.

C'mon, Manny.

Zenslinger said...

CBS's GDGD says that Ortiz "doubled softly to left". Was this a shift-busting double or something?

laura k said...

Lotta bad dance out there, eh? Lotta bad everything out there I guess. Are you the PSM?

allan said...

it was hit hard enough, was not a bloopy flair.

laura k said...

I want to see #500 TONIGHT!

laura k said...

(Especially because I'm out tomorrow night. And you know it's all about me.)

Benjamin said...

GDGD says "line drive". Of Pedroia's out, it said "lines out softly".

laura k said...

Yeah! Nice to have an early lead.

Amy said...

Good start! But I did say that last night also...

allan said...

fy's was a soft liner, yes.

Benjamin said...

Run(s) are good.

Sarah Haendler said...

Even on GDGD, this is fun. Wish I were in Baltimore.

Sarah Haendler said...

No, I am not, thank whatever powers there may be, the PSM. I'm just the sound guy. On the one the other day, I was the light board op.

laura k said...

Come on, Amy, lighten up. You're taking these losses so hard.

Benjamin said...

More run(s) are even better.

Amy said...

So odd that there are more Sox fans there than Orioles fans.

laura k said...

Sarah, that's cool. My alter ego is a techie, as I'm sure I've told you.

Amy said...

Yeah, I do take them hard. I need to remember it is only May and that even the best teams lose 60 games or so. I just hate it. Why can't we win them ALL?

laura k said...

You'd think a seasoned baseball fan would remember that, yet almost no one does.

Benjamin said...

They call it "Fenway South" for a reason. Though these days, pretty much every park but the toilet gets called that.

allan said...

thanks, cabin!!!!

laura k said...

Thanks Kevin! Still playing for our team!

Loooove this defense.

Amy said...

PSM? Is that a theater term or a tech term? Or neither?

YES! We are up 3!

Benjamin said...

More run(s). I like those.

allan said...

even with the o's good start -- they are .500 -- attendance is way down.

laura k said...

Baltimore is Toilet South, too. Just like Toronto is both Fenway North and Yankee Stadium North.

Amy said...

Tek, don't kill the rally.

laura k said...

psm = production stage manager

Zenslinger said...

Errors at the corners: a former RS and an almost RS (at one point a couple years back Theo was big on Huff, wasn't he?)

Amy said...

Thanks, I figured a theater term.

Damn, Tek, swinging at shit again.

Benjamin said...

We love you, Millar.

The O's are on pace for 27 errors this game.

Zenslinger said...

34 pitches for Guthrie.

CBS is giving him all three ER...can't be right. Two, maybe, considering Ortiz would have scored on the grounder anyway, but he should have stopped earning runs after there were two out, I think.

allan said...

I still cannot believe Laura is using the term "toilet".

laura k said...

When I worked in theatre and I hung out with tech people, I realized I had missed my calling as a stage manager. I did it a little for tiny little shows. Loved it.

allan said...

Zen: GD says 2 ER.

laura k said...

I am NOT using the expression toilet. I am answering someone else who did. I do NOT use that term. Stop it.

Benjamin said...

GDGD is giving him 2 ER.

Benjamin said...

95mph fastball and 77mph curve? What's a batter supposed to do with that?

Amy said...

So nice to see a 1-2-3 inning from our starter!

allan said...

No one else used the expression "Toilet South".

laura k said...

shut up

laura k said...

i really like phil's sheep. it's so cute.

Amy said...

Hehehe, you guys sound like my kids.

I wonder if the new one will look like a toilet.

Benjamin said...

Noooooo. Cora records his second out this year.

Amy said...

Yes, why sheep, Phil?

Benjamin said...

It's the sheep Lisa doesn't want to eat from the vegetarian Simpsons episode.

Amy said...

Cute little hit there.

Benjamin said...

And because Laura thinks it's cute.

laura k said...

The old one doesn't look like a toilet! No more than any other concrete Stadium.

Amy said...

Cool. Lamb was the first meet I gave up eating. After seeing lamb babies...even cuter than the avatar.

laura k said...

Thorne: "That one's in the kitchen, and it's a big kitchen..."

Amy said...

From the air, it does sort of look more like a toilet than other parks. Sort of oval shaped.

laura k said...

I just saw that episode the other night.

I love lambs. And lamb. The cute ones and the yummy ones.

laura k said...

shut up :)

Amy said...

(But I don't call it that either. I try not to use MFY also. I try not to fan the flames too much around here.)

Benjamin said...

Pretty sure baby lambs are called lambs.

Bah, Papi.

allan said...

it looks like a bed pan from the air, but apparently that's not the origin of the name. it has something to do with so many asses sitting in it.

...

thorne just said ortiz is a pull hitter and never uses the wall at fenway for extra base hits. ?!?!?

Amy said...

I haven't had lamb since 1971. My mother says it was my favorite when I was really little---lamb chops.

Does anyone remember Shari Lewis and Lamb Chops? I loved that also.

laura k said...

I always took that route too, when I was on the Other Side.

I was always a Yankees fan with a soft spot for the Red Sox. Now I'm a Sox fan who can't really hate the Yankees.

Always on the outside... boo hoo... poor me...

Why yes, I am drinking vodka tonight. Nice of you to notice.

laura k said...

Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop!!!! My favourite. Kookla, Fran and Ollie.

My mother called me lamb chop after that show. She still does sometimes.

It was and remains one of my favourite foods.

Amy said...

Pretty sure baby lambs are called lambs.

LOL. I meant newborn.

Benjamin said...

It's been well more than a decade for me. Not sure whether I ever had lamb.

Shari Lewis's show was terrible.

Benjamin said...

Apparently I'm in the minority in thinking so, though.

laura k said...

Was it terrible? I've never seen it as an adult. I adored it as a child and it's one of those things best left at that. It's one of the those happy-sad memories for me.

Benjamin said...

Our 1Bman is better than their 1Bman, even if he used to be ours.

Amy said...

And I didn't even have any vodka.

Straight up or with OJ? Cranberry juice? Something else?

I loved Kukla, Fran and Ollie. I wonder if that is around on DVD somewhere.

My favorite kid's show though was always Lassie. Hence...Cassie the rescued collie.

Benjamin said...

"Grating and annoying" come to mind. I'm sure I'd be embarrassed today by lots of stuff I watched as a kid, though.

allan said...

Re Thorne not knowing basic info about Ortiz:

The latest FJM take on Joe Morgan's ESPN chat takes him to task for admitting he can't answer a question about the Dodgers because he hasn't seen the Dodgers yet this year -- because they have not been on Sunday night baseball.

Same deal with Cleveland, only saw them once, when ESPN did a game, so he can't offer an opinion.

Amazing. Joe doesn't watch any baseball except the one game he calls a week. What a job.

Benjamin said...

And neither of our catchers is below the Mendoza line.

Amy said...

Probably right that it is best not to go back and watch old favorite shows. I have gone back and seen some movies I loved as a child and wondered WHY I loved it.

laura k said...

If anyone wants to see a nice photo with me and Allan in it, one is here. (Scroll down.) It's from Point Pelee, on our recent Detroit trip.

But if you hate sushi, the pic may make you sick.

Amy said...

Cora v Lugo v Lowrie---who would have fielded that ball the best?

laura k said...

"he can't answer a question about the Dodgers because he hasn't seen the Dodgers yet this year -- because they have not been on Sunday night baseball."

ROFL

Seriously. I am cracking up.

laura k said...

Vodka with "Paradise Blend" juice. Bright orange and very yummy.

Paradise Blend says it is "vacation in a glass".

We say add vodka and it's "paid vacation in a glass".

Benjamin said...

Ummm, an out, please?

Amy said...

Damn. There goes the shut out.

Nice photo, Laura! Nice sushi also!! Did you guys get to eat that? I do love sushi, though I now worry about eating the tuna.

Finally the third out.

Amy said...

Paradise Blend? Is it orange-pineapple or somethng?

Paid vacation in a glass! LOL!

laura k said...

I love sushi. We both do.

Yes, that was our massive lunch one day. We way over ordered... then ate all of it!

laura k said...

Paradise Blend, it's something Dole makes. One of the 100% juice blends. When I get up for a refill, I'll tell you what's in it!

allan said...

FJM:

Charlotte: Joe: You were such a great hitter. What would you do to help Andruw Jones get back on track. He's just lost up there. And I can't believe he's really this bad.

Joe Morgan: I can't either. I can't believe he's having the problems he's having. I have not seen him play this year, as we haven't done a Dodgers' game and he's never int the highlights, so I couldn't give him any specific advice, but I am shocked at how long this slump has extended.

KT: I am officially a broken record, but: Joe Morgan, the #1 analyst on the #1 baseball network in America -- multiple-time Emmy Award Winner -- has not seen a fucking DODGER GAME this year? Not one Dodger game?
I have a full-time job, and a decently complicated life, and a young child. There is not a single team in the majors I haven't watched play this year. I have watched at least one game of every major league team. You know why? I like baseball. Like checking out a Reds-Cubs game on a sleepy Saturday in late April. Like flipping over to a Giants game and imagine what it must be like to be Brian Sabean watching Barry Zito serving 80 MPH cheese to the NL. I like baseball, so I watch baseball. I just...I don't know how saying things like this doesn't get you fired. I really don't.

...

Mark (Bangor, PA): Hey Joe, have you picked out anything mechically wrong with Hafner's swing or has he lost his eye or bat speed?

Joe Morgan: I've only done the one Indians game early in the year, where it was cold and not conducive to hitting. [...]

KT: And since I only watch games I am actually announcing, and thus only see one game a week, everyone with a specific question about a specific player that happens not to play for one of the eight teams I have covered so far can go fuck themselves.

Sincerely,

the #1 Booth Analyst on the #1 Most Important Weekly Baseball Broadcast on the WorldWide Leader in Sports,

Joe Morgan

Benjamin said...

Ingredients:
Filtered water, pineapple juice concentrate, grape juice concentrate, apple juice concentrate, carrot juice concentrate, passion fruit juice concentrate, natural flavors, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and beta carotene.

laura k said...

I'm not excusing Joe Morgan at all, but this:

There is not a single team in the majors I haven't watched play this year. I have watched at least one game of every major league team. You know why? I like baseball.

is not typical. I don't watch the NL at all, ever, until the WS, except for interleague play, which I loathe and wish would end.

Most baseball fans cannot watch every team. There are too many teams! And if I'm watching two other teams, I'm missing a Red Sox game, right?

Amy said...

Phil saves Laura the trouble. Sounds yummy, though I like my vodka with cranberry juice (Cape Codder) or with cranberry and Cointreau and lime---the Cosmo.

Amy said...

Nice catch, I have to say.

laura k said...

Thanks Phil! I guess it's the carrot that makes it so orange. A nice touch.

Sure, Cape Codders are great, I loooove Cosmos too. But this is what's in the house. :)

Jere said...

I'm announcing if anybody wants to check in. Thanks, y'all.

allan said...

NY - 000
TB - 00

laura k said...

You should try this stuff, tho, Amy. It's really good. Has a tropical taste.

laura k said...

So that's where Jere is!

Benjamin said...

Damn it, Jere, you're not supposed to pick Monday and Tuesday night games when I'm stuck in mandatory continuing legal education classes.

Amy said...

I feel lucky that I get to see as many Red Sox games as I do. Sometimes I will watch a Yankee game with Harvey if no Sox game is on and the Yankees are on TV (he watches the games on mlb.com). Sometimes a Mets game if my son-in-law is around. Sometimes whatever game is on if I have a chance. But every team? Not even remotely possible.

laura k said...

Phil, you're a lawyer too?

Benjamin said...

The stuff sounds very sweet, but 24g/8oz is typical for juice.

allan said...

okay, we tuned in:

jere > gary thorne

laura k said...

(Too as in another lawyer friend at JoS, not too as in you're also a lawyer besides being a baseball fan.)

We've got Jere on now.

Benjamin said...

Yeah, and I get to take a couple more bar exams this summer when I move to Rhode Island.

Benjamin said...

Can't say I approve of giving up 7-pitch singles.

laura k said...

It's sweet for juice but not sweet compared to, say, soda. Which I don't drink.

Jack Marshall said...

Ok, it's a short ride to Baltimore, so I'm going to drive over there now so I can KILL GARY THORNE. What a complete, babbling IDIOT!!! ARRGH!

laura k said...

Ooo lucky you, more bar exams. Awful.

laura k said...

Here comes my boy.

Benjamin said...

While you're there, make a coaching visit to mound.

Amy said...

How are you watching the game while doing CLE, Phil? Good at multitasking?

The juice does sound good---refreshing.

What happened to Drew?

nick said...

hey all. just popping in while emma's getting ready for bed. What just happened to Drew?

Amy said...

We lawyers are everywhere.

The Rhode Island bar, Phil? Or more than one?

My daughter just passed the NY bar. I never ever want to take another one. I took MA and CT many years ago and swore that was it.

Benjamin said...

I'm watching on GDGD. The CLE stuff is useless, and I'm not even going to practice in this state, but I paid the money so I'm going. I just have to do the assignments and show up. (Otherwise, my license gets suspended, and I'd rather that didn't happen.)

Benjamin said...

Took NJ/NY. Now RI/MA. Apparently only a couple hundred folks take the RI bar each year, compared to !0,000+ for NY.

allan said...

bynum bloop to right. drew sliding catch -- twisted left wrist, fell out for a hit. lyndon in now.

laura k said...

Yup, you're still on, Jere. A huge improvement over Thorne.

laura k said...

I good friend Abby had to take NY, NJ, CT, some multi-state thing for all three states... then moved to California. Where she practices in Federal court but is still required to take the CA bar exam. She was *not* pleased.

Amy said...

It seems much CLE is like that. I went to a conference last fall where there were lawyers there for CLE purposes who were clearly NOT paying attention.

Good luck on the bar(s). Doesn't sounds like a fun summer. I guess you couldn't waive in?

Benjamin said...

Nah, haven't been practicing long enough to waive in. Not sure whether RI even lets you. (NJ certainly doesn't.)

Amy said...

Hmm, I missed the Drew thing. That sucks.

Shit, Millar gets his revenge.

Benjamin said...

Feh.

laura k said...

Jere, this guy does not look like Damon.

laura k said...

crap

Benjamin said...

Uh, Josh? These batters suck. WTF.

9casey said...

Is Jere's girlfiend, significant other, partner, lifemate, and or roomate there helping with the broadcast, she's the funny one..

laura k said...

She was not on today.

Jack Marshall said...

This is 2006 Beckett: great individual pitches, lousy concentration and follow-through. Yecch.

Amy said...

Yeah, I think waiving in has gotten tougher than in the old days.

The bar exam industry is so disgusting. The review courses are controlled by a monopoly, and the whole purpose of the exam is not to demonstrate competence but to control competition. It infuriates me. I teach people to think, and then the bar course teaches them to memorize and reduce things to rules.

I cannot believe we blew another lead. I am not going to dwell on it, but I hate it.

laura k said...

Game's not over yet. Plenty of time for a nice comeback win.

laura k said...

Re bar exams, my friend in Cali said the same thing - that it was a huge boondoggle, forcing her to spend tons of money for something she didn't need.

Benjamin said...

It's actually easier to waive in than it used to, but it depends on the state and it usually requires 5+ years of practice.

It's definitely just a barrier-to-entry thing. It's no surprise that states you can't waive into include NJ (NY), FL (NY), HI (CA), and DE (capitalism). Good thing the NJ bar isn't actually that hard.

Amy said...

Can we please have one more 1-2-3 inning?

laura k said...

I guess Phil had to pay attention and Amy had to play with the kittens.

Jack Marshall said...

By the way, Amy, that play, and the earlier one, are exectly why you wouldn't enjoy having Alex as your regular shortstop. Lugo would have made that play easily.

Benjamin said...

Runs, please.

Benjamin said...

Nah, I'm also looking for election returns from West Virginia and Mississippi in other windows.

I've been to West Virginia a couple times. It's so poor it had to borrow another state's capital's name.

Amy said...

I am just speechless. I was wishing that the NEXT inning would be 1-2-3.

Kittens have been napping. Not baseball fans, I guess.

allan said...

Some Baltimore promo thing with Ripken -- he looks exactly like "Steve" from Jerry Springer.

Jack Marshall said...

I can't believe I spend all day running a CLE seminar, and when I finally get home, the discussion on JOS is about CLE! Am I in HELL??

Amy said...

You really think Lugo is a better SS than Cora?

Yikes, just saw the replay of Drew's injury. That looked painful.

Can we score at least two runs now?

Oh, Papi, another first pitch popup?

laura k said...

WV is poor but beautiful. What's left of it, whatever hasn't been destroyed by mountaintop removal.

Benjamin said...

With the way the Sox are playing tonight, you might be.

Amy said...

You're a lawyer also, Jack?

God, we really are everywhere.

Time for Manny to hit 499.

laura k said...

Jack, is someone forcing you to tune in to the game thread?

Amy said...

Ok, no HR, but a double is good enough!

Jack Marshall said...

Lugo makes errors, but I think it's fair to say that if you polled all the scouts and managers in MLB, 98% would say Lugo is the better shortstop.

laura k said...

Amy, when Jack returned to JoS I warned him that you were also a lawyer. So if he was going to try to bullshit us with legalese, you might be able to call him out. ;)

laura k said...

(And btw, he thanked me for the warning.)

Lord Lynch said...

Evening all....

Just woken up in the middle of the night so thought I'd look in.

What is going on with Josh?

Benjamin said...

A double isn't good enough when he doesn't score from second.

laura k said...

Lugo is better than Cora, that's obvious, but where does Lugo rank among ML SSs? Still very low.

allan said...

thorne says lowell is better now because he's not a pull hitter -- hits to all fields.

graphic goes up with lowell's hits to:

left - 12
center - 10
right - 3

yup, not a pull hitter.

laura k said...

Good evening Lord. Beckett is not having a good night and Drew left the game with what looks like a broken wrist.

Jack Marshall said...

No,Laura, I'm just surprised to find continuing legal education chatter competing with that game thread. I don't mind it much, just think it's strange, and for the rare person like me who deals with this stuff all day,a little disapointing.

allan said...

looking at range factor for shortstops in the AL:

only one man is lower than jeter ...

lugo.

Amy said...

Ha, I had no idea he was a lawyer, but since he loves a good argument and always has facts to support his position, I should have assumed so. Well, so far no legalese to call him out on.

Next time Manny hits 499 with at least one man on.

Lord Lynch said...

So a wonderful day all round.

That wasn't a great 5th innings.

We got the last two games on "proper" TV and the pitching seems in a funk.

laura k said...

Jack, yeah right. We all feel for you.

Amy said...

Hi, Lord. Josh has not been at his best. As the score reflects.

Amy said...

Another hit. There goes my wish for a 1-2-3.

Jack, dare I ask what CLE you are teaching?

Benjamin said...

Hey look, another shitty single.

laura k said...

Lord, very true, pitching has been suspect lately. But we're still in first. At the moment.

laura k said...

Many of us find the beauty of JoS game threads is the far-ranging conversation.

Damn. More O baserunners.

Lord Lynch said...

At least this is one ballpark this Englishman has been too.

Only been to four, and one of them has been discontinued (RFK) and another will be demolished at the end of the season (you know who's).

Not that any of this matters...

Luke Scott is a "delightful youung man". Not as delightful as that thing sitting on Palmer's head.

laura k said...

Yes, "dee-light-full".

Camden Yards is a nice park. Did you get to see the Red Sox at any of the parks you went to?

Benjamin said...

Globe says x-rays are negative on Drew's wrist, so listed day to day with a sprain.

laura k said...

Got out of that one.

allan said...

called strike three -- and palmer groans like someone just shot his dog.

laura k said...

So is general consensus say that is not Jim Palmer's real hair? (Or it's "his" because he bought it?)

He looks like a mannequin.

allan said...

NY - 000 00
TB - 000 10

laura k said...

I guess the Drewplainers are disappointed that it's not worse.

Lord Lynch said...

No l.

Yankees lost to Toronto (May 2005)
Phillies hammered 13-0 at home by Giants (June 2007)
Nationals beat Pirates on a walk-off wild pitch (June 2007)
Os beat Rockies (June 2007)

I got to go to Fenway for the tour, got offered one ticket, but turned it down because I couldn't get two. We got hammered that night at home by Colorado.

allan said...

why the FUCK are we trailing balt by 2? come ON!!!

Benjamin said...

At least we'll be getting to their pen soon.

Lord Lynch said...

And that was Josh's worst outing last year, I think.

I'd be stunned if Palmer's thatch is au naturelle.

Amy said...

Thank you, Allan. I am glad someone else is pissed off!

Lord Lynch said...

Is my memory off or didn't we struggle with this chump in the Mother's Day Miracle last season?

Or am I talking nonsense.

laura k said...

Oh too bad, Lord! But lots of good baseball, I'm glad you got to see all those games live, and several different park experiences. What was your favourite parks of the ones you saw games in?

Bad grammar there, but you know what I mean.

Benjamin said...

Hey, Tek's back over .250.

allan said...

mrs. bynum must be the official scorer -- hit.

if errors exist, that was an error.

laura k said...

You are correct, Sir Lynch. This is the guy.

Lord Lynch said...

Jeter stranded at 3rd. Think it is still 1-0 at Tampa. Are they for real?

Amy said...

Kittens are awake and jumping on the laptop.

Maybe that is a good sign for the bats as well.

Benjamin said...

Yeah, that was Guthrie on Mother's Day.

laura k said...

Well I'm not happy! I just don't get pissed off during games anymore. In the regular season, anyway.

allan said...

if the scores stay the same, we're bumped out of first by tampa.

Amy said...

44KOO

Kitten typing there.

Lord Lynch said...

I liked Camden Yards. They gave me free tickets for answering a survey... They asked me how far away from the park I lived, her face was a picture when I said 3 and a half thousand miles!

Yankee Stadium was ghastly and the staff there appalling. RFK was old and run down but I liked it's character. Phillies wasn't bad, but very very high up.....

I try not to get pissed off, but when two games in a row we blow a first inning three run lead and then can't get the bats going, I guess I get pissed off.
