We'll never know the actual number of cases -- or the number of deaths -- since there's practically no testing available.

There will be indirect deaths, too -- eg, people who have a heart attack or stroke, and can't get care because hospitals are overcrowded with covid cases. This could potentially be a lot of people.

Trump cites the Times' article that mentions ratings, but neglects to point out its criticism of his leadership as the cases and deaths pile up throughout the US.

So much for that beautiful Easter timeline. Maybe the cure is NOT worse than the disease.

"Trump said Sunday that the federal government's guidelines for social distancing would last until April 30, backing down from his previous comments that he hoped the country could go back to work by Easter."

Trump also thinks medical workers may be selling protective masks "out the back door". He said this on TV.

The King of Projection. Trump would sell masks out the back door, so he assumes other people would do it, too. He makes shit up all the time based on no evidence, so he assumes the media does, too. He cares more about TV ratings than human lives, and since his way is the only right way, he assumes that it is okay to express that sentiment in public.
