It looked like Pap had gotten his mojo back, if you will... Two big fastballs right by him. I thought he'd strike him out. Damn. I was genuinely shocked right there.

He certainly didn't have to walk Gomez. Threw two straight splitters on balls 3 and 4. Didn't really challenge him in the latter part of the AB. It was as if he was afraid of the game being tied.
Or Varitek was.

I think the mindblowing thing about Bot is , he seems to be keeping the ball up waist high .....and has only struck out 1 in his last 6 outings....still throwing gas just elevating a little .........
An absolutely brutal walk to a guy who has only walked 4 times this year, an offense that left 11 on and couldn't add to the lead, and a SS we're stuck with who appears to have his head up his ass in the field.
