A. Curt doesn't need to consult with us on his outside interests, but he does. I'm sure I talk with Curt more than any other player. Curt has more to say than anyone else. It's a very interesting blog and very well done. We're both emailers and I have a blog as well, it just hasn't reached the surface yet by design. ... As a kid I followed Clemens. He was my favorite player, until he left for Toronto. Then when he went to New York, he became my least favorite player. In short, I hated him. But you don't hate guys who aren't good. And there aren't many better than him.
I would love to see him come back to Boston, help us beat the Yankees, win the World Series, and have him go into the Hall of Fame wearing a Red Sox cap as one of the greatest pitchers ever.

As for Henry, I think he's practicing a bit of selective memory. Clemens was cheared when he pitched in Fenway in his last season as a Yankee. At the time he was supposed to "retire." He's been booed a fair bit at Fenway too, but like John Henry, I like to think that most Boston fans, in their heart of hearts if not anywhere else, still love the old guy. I could be wrong, but thats what I think.
