G143: Blue Jays 7, Red Sox 4

Red Sox - 000 000 301 - 4 8 0
Blue Jays - 041 000 11x - 7 11 1
Sitting out behind the Red Sox bullpen in right field, we (Laura, Tim, and I) were feeling alright after Boston rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh (helped out by LBJ's second double of the night). That sense of hopefulness was snuffed out in part by Eric Thames's solo home run in the bottom half of the frame. It first hit in the section to our right, caromed far over our heads and landed in the section to our left. I checked Buffyvision to see how much screen time we got.
We are sitting about four rows up from the DQ sign, wearing red (Tim), red (Laura), and gray (me, with clipboard/scoresheet) shirts.
I have my hand up but the ball is now sailing sideways well over our heads.
And that was our excitement for the evening.

Here we are (far left of picture) watching Jason Varitek's ninth-inning home run land in the second deck.
There is no footage available of us asking Fuck the Heck?!? as Adrian Gonzalez was called back to the dugout and Terry Francona wasted an out with Nate Spears.

These last two losses were especially annoying because the Yankees lost two extra-inning games to the Orioles at the same time. New York lost 5-4 in 10 innings this afternoon as Baltimore put up a cool binary linescore:
010 101 010 1
Example
Andrew Miller / Ricky Romero
Ellsbury, CF
Scutaro, SS
Pedroia, 2B
Ortiz, DH
Youkilis, 1B
Lowrie, 3B
Varitek, C
Reddick, RF
McDonald, LF
Dear Red Sox: I'm at this game. Please win. Thank you.

Game thread. And Yankees/Orioles at 1 PM.

Why did you choose to stay in right ? There were plenty of good seats to be had.

I don't think we even thought about moving way over by the infield. Hmmm.... We moved a little bit so we were behind the balcony where the Sox relief pitchers sit.
