I went to a game in '02 that was a really hot day, close to 100, and I had a bleacher seat. I wanted to wait until right before game time to head to my seat, so I was standing in the outfield concourse next to one of the ramps that goes out to the seats. There was a little hallway there with a door at the end, presumably leading to one of the concession stands or something. That was the only place I felt a little breeze, so I waited there for a while and people-watched. But my mind kept going back to that door and what was behind it. I kept thinking about the stories I had heard about rats at Fenway, but I tried to convince myself that they'd never come out in the daytime with all these people around, but all of a sudden I felt something soft brush against my ankles. I leaped up and thankfully was so scared I didn't scream out. I looked down and saw.... a hot dog wrapper. But that was traumatic enough for me!

Whew, painter just left for the evening. We have one bedroom done (that's where Jay & I are sleeping now). Our bedroom is completely bare and they are working in there. It is going to be nice when everything is done. We haven't done anything to the upstairs since we built the house 18 years ago.
