Travis Wood: 24 Up, 24 Down (But That's It)

Reds - 000 000 000 00 - 0 6 0
Phillies - 000 000 000 01 - 1 4 0
After eight perfect innings, Cincinnati lefty Travis Wood allowed a leadoff double to left-center to Carlos Ruiz.

Three outs from nine perfect innings and then suddenly the game-losing run is on second with no outs. But Wood pitched out of trouble, and the game is in the 10th.

It is the third extra-inning game for the Reds and Phillies in this series (they went 12 on Thursday and 10 last night). The Phillies have played extras in four of their last five games.

I wish they'd score a run for him! Something has to give.

HA! Wilson Valdez pops up a bunt to 3B! Moron.

Now a PH for Halladay.

PH Raul Ibanez nearly fouls out to catcher before flying to deep CF. Ruiz to 3rd, 2 outs.

You're too enthralled to update the post title/linescore, I guess.

Rollins fouled out to Votto at 1B!

Reds/Phillies went 12 on Thursday, 10 last night, and at least 10 tonight!

Phils in extras for 4th time in last 5 games.
