Tim Wakefield has been scratched from his scheduled start Tuesday against the Rays because his back is acting up. He will be evaluated on Monday.Sunday's pitcher is unknown, though it might be Paul Byrd. If tonight's game is rained out, Clay Buchholz will go tomorrow, with Jon Lester pitching in Tampa on Tuesday.

Not liking this news. We needed Lester starting on Sunday against Halladay.
Granted, Halladay has shat the bed in each of his past two starts, so maybe we'll get lucky and he'll continue sucking.
I half expect the Red Sox Foundation to do some kind of raffle for the chance to pitch on Monday.

There's no game scheduled for Monday.

And since I am this weekend getting the music ready for Monday, I should have rememebred that.
Actually looks like Byrd is pitching tomorrow. Then Lester would pitch Tuesday, I guess.
