That 1931 Red Sox win was in the second game of a doubleheader. In Game 1, Philadelphia scored five times in the top of the 12th, breaking a 0-0 tie and winning 5-0.

My brother and I were at both that one and this Sunday's. I'm not quite sure which was the more exciting comeback.
The table refers to only games in which the home team had zero runs entering the ninth, so that Fenway game (that year's home opener!) may be one of the nine he mentioned at the top.

I was gonna say, didn't the Pirates score something ridiculous like 12 to win in the bottom of the 9th over the Astros maybe five, six years ago?

Yeah, the guy says it's the ninth time there's been a 5 or more run comeback in the ninth, and then proceeds to give a list of about 30 of them. Which leaves off the Mo Vaughn game.
