31 Players From 19 Teams (Including "Some" Red Sox) Test Positive In MLB's First Round Of Covid-19 Tests

MLB and the Players Union announced on Friday that 31 players tested positive for COVID-19 in the first round of testing. Seven staff members also tested positive.

The 31 positives tests came from players on 19 teams, including the Red Sox.

Roenicke says they do have some positive tests of Red Sox players but aren't going to give names.

Eduardo Rodriguez is not in camp yet. He was at home and around someone who is positive for Covid, so wanted to stay away from the team for now. He has been tested himself and they're awaiting his results. Roenicke says Rodriguez allowed them to speak about this.
