Halladay Pitches Perfect Game

Roy Halladay: 9-0-0-0-11, 115.

The Phillies beat the Marlins 1-0. It is the 20th perfect game in major league history and the second one this month. Dallas Braden retired 27 consecutive Rays on May 9.

It is the first time there have been two perfect games in the same season since 1880 (June 12 and 17).

Humph. He never pitched no perfect games when he played for us!

This was amazing to see, Halladay is one hell of a pitcher and deserves it for sure! This game was on here in FL, too bad I didn't watch it.

Oh well, great story there. In other news, fuck duh angels. idiots.

Watched the final two innings thanks to MLBTV Live Look-in. Amazing that of the 20 perfect games in recorded history, six have come in the last 12 years.

Wow! Haha!

Oh, and RIP Dennis Hopper

That's because of the dilution of pitching talent.

I'd like to see a Braden v. Halladay matchup in the All-Star Game as starting pitchers, to pay homage to this amazing feat.

Oh, and how can you hit a walk-off grand slam and then break your leg jumping onto home plate? The Angels aren't going anywhere this year.

I was about to type that.
